DBFlow Labs develops DBFlow — a model-first workflow engine for Laravel and Filament. This policy describes what information we may collect and how we use it when you visit our website, purchase a license, or contact us for support.

Who we are

DBFlow Labs (“we”, “us”) operates the DBFlow website and provides DBFlow Core, DBFlow Filament, DBFlow Pro, documentation, and related developer tools. DBFlow is independent software for Laravel and Filament projects. We are not affiliated with Laravel, Filament, or other third-party platforms.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with DBFlow, we may collect:

  • Contact information — such as your email address when you contact support, request portal access, or complete a purchase.
  • Purchase and order information — product purchased, order identifiers, billing name, and related transaction details provided by our payment provider.
  • License and activation information — license keys, activation status, registered domains or environments, and usage needed to manage commercial licenses.
  • Payment provider metadata — transaction references, payment status, and fraud-prevention signals from third-party checkout and payment providers. We do not store raw card numbers or full payment credentials.
  • Website and technical logs — basic analytics, server logs, IP address, browser type, and pages visited, where applicable for security and product improvement.

What we do not collect from your application

DBFlow packages run inside your Laravel application. We do not collect your application database records, workflow task content, approval decisions, audit logs, business models, or your own end-user data through the DBFlow packages. Open-source DBFlow packages installed locally do not send application data to DBFlow Labs.

Commercial license checks, if used, are limited to license management information such as license key status, activation state, and registered domains or environments.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by third-party checkout and payment providers. Card and payment details are handled directly by those providers under their own privacy policies. DBFlow does not store raw card information on our servers.

How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • fulfill orders and deliver license access;
  • manage licenses, activations, and customer portal access;
  • provide customer support;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized redistribution;
  • improve documentation, product quality, and website reliability.

Sharing

We do not sell customer contact, order, or license information. We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate the website, process payments, deliver email, or host infrastructure — only as needed to provide our services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, customers, and products.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, manage licenses, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may contact us to request access to or correction of information associated with your account or purchase.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

DBFlow is developer software and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as our products and practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
